I’m not cheering for the Phillies and haven’t given up on the Braves. Not sure what there is to catch on to. Braves fan since the late 70s. Not changing now.

Are you insinuating I and others are?

You can't be that stupid.

That this team isn't built for the playoffs and AA didn't do anything to help that at the deadline.

AA didn’t do much at the deadline. Mahle has shown to be an excellent acquisition, but I don’t credit the office for being as smart as that now looks.

And, yes, others are cheering for the Phillies. Jockstrap has posted as much.

The Phillies won’t stay this hot and the Braves won’t stay this cold. Should be fun down the stretch.

All that to say... "no, I still haven't caught on"

The East doesn't matter at this point. The Braves and Phillies are both cooked.

You acting like if/when we win the division is some huge achievement is exactly why AA is under zero pressure.

In 2023, the Rangers won 90 regular season games and also won the World Series.
Of course, we know the 2021 Braves won 88 games and won the World Series.
Just get in the post season and there’s a chance.

So how will you move the goalposts once we fail to win a postseason series for a four consecutive trip?

You've already moved them three times throughout this season.

10-15 outta the break before the now 9 straight wins - Twins Fish StL - tbh the walk off over StL today couldn't happen to a better group BFIB* -

their competition is about to ramp up over the next 9 up west - at SEA at LAA at ARZ - they'll sweep the Angels and drop the D-bags series - Mariners can hopefully take 2 -

they return home to 4 vs Atlanta - 3 vs Houston - then 3 at Truist -

The only goalpost is the World Series winner. Thats still a possibility. Give up if you want.

There's a difference between giving up and acknowledging trends.

I will continue to support the Braves by going to games and watching them play, but my head isn't in the sand like yours seems to be.

Stop being a useful idiot for AA.

I have no control over AA. It makes no difference what you or I think of him. Good for you for attending.

Evidently there are people in this thread who didn't read sarcasm in that post, and others as well that night. It was after an abhorrent offensive display of baseball THAT JUST PISSED THIS 76 YEAR OLD BRAVES FAN OF 57 frickING YEARS because he has been watching too much lately.

Those people can believe what they want about me. Quit wasting your time reading my posts and instead keep on praising your current edition of the Atlanta Braves and continue to enjoy the implosion. Me, I choose to bitch as much as I want about what is causing the implosion and who are we going to get to stop it.

Now good night and enjoy tonight's edition of Braves impotence

We’ll have to break out of this slump in a big way if we want to make the playoffs. The schedule is brutal the rest of the way.

not sure if Dubon was trolling Contreras on the lob throw to first or came close to blowing the throw

Ozzie hustling to 1B can hopefully wake a few more of his teammates up -
