That lineup needs two hitters if it wants any chance to win it all….

Is Kim really that bad?? He’s been bad this year, but he had to show something to get that contract…

Yes.

He was an All Star a few seasons back with San Diego. However, he was bad when we got him last year midseason and had a bit of an uptick, but was still nothing special at the plate. But combine our desperation for a SS and Boras being his agent, and there you go.

No down to send Mateo to.

Jimmy Baseball has options.

We would have to DFA him and I doubt he would clear waivers just because of how valuable he could be as a pinch runner.

It would really be dumb if we go through that just to see Kim attempt to hit again.

Which is why it would make no sense to part with Mateo, especially now that our OF is healthy enough to where Dubon can play SS.

Kim isn't worth any of this though.

Good HSK hits around .240 and 10 homers for the season. Maybe either HSK or Mateo gets thrown in on a deal for a starting pitcher.

So Reynaldo is part of a deal for Skubal? I like it.

I get it. Watching him play in general has been painful.

I just hope we add two solid arms and an OF/DH type to this team. If you get Skubal, I don’t think we can get all that.

You have my attention.

Figured we'd make a run at Gausman, but last I saw, he is pitching tonight.

Sounds like Reynaldo really did tweak his knee warming up. JR likely starting tomorrow.

If Ronald and Olson heat up at the same time, this team will score a lot of runs
