It's sad you say "we get to clear our highest paid player" what a tragedy - could have spent that money on a starter or 2

He legit needs to do some hypnotherapy in the off season. He looks broken mentally.

Also what a depressing stat on the walks. 14+ with none of them scoring. Insane

Riley 1-13 with 9K vs Glasnow.

Why is he even in the lineup at all today

Riley got paid hurt his thumb and just is not the same player. If he plays half as good as we was before his injury it totally flips our lineup. Everyone trashing Acuna needs to point at Riley and Olson too. Michael Harris is the only consistent player we have and you can tell he actually gives a damn. Olson and Riley just look bored out there.

Difference between all those guys and riley... Is Riley has been so bad for so long he is not even an MLB player.

Kind of like NIL in college now - when you invest alot of $$$ in that player - they will start regardless. That is the only reason he is still playing - trying to get a tenth of our investment back.

Understand it, but in the playoffs it makes no sense.

Either way, unlikely we play baseball next year. If we were he would probably be cut.

The only similar trajectory is Chris Davis. he made it a similar amount of time before he was just cut.

this whole pitching staff has been put in impossible situations and balled.

the bullpen has been fantastic. sale was not bad we just cannot score.

i have zero gripes about any pitchers.

the offense blows

If Acuna, Olson, and Baldwin continue not to hit we have no chance
