You could say the same thing about UGAy - all you have to your program is Matt Stafford.

I agree. The problem starts at the top with our front office. I am just saying don't throw shade at a player that has proven to be clutch in the post season just to play him here and there and expect them to deliver. Have a lineup and stick with it - Lane should start left every day until he gets at least 8-10 AB's in a row. Not 10 AB'S stretched out over 2 weeks.

Lane isn't the problem. Look at his post season stats last year - he hit a grand slam off Tarik Skubal to send Cleveland to the ALCS and led the team in hitting.
The problem is this stupid rotation and "platoon" role we have. It is so hard to get in any type of rhythm when you play one game sit 2 games and than get 1 AB the next. Can't expect Lane to get off the bench cold as ice and hit against 103 mph. Lane Thomas should start every day because he has proven he can hit in the post season. Otherwise why the hell did we make a trade?

Kind of like NIL in college now - when you invest alot of $$$ in that player - they will start regardless. That is the only reason he is still playing - trying to get a tenth of our investment back.

Riley got paid hurt his thumb and just is not the same player. If he plays half as good as we was before his injury it totally flips our lineup. Everyone trashing Acuna needs to point at Riley and Olson too. Michael Harris is the only consistent player we have and you can tell he actually gives a damn. Olson and Riley just look bored out there.

It's sad you say "we get to clear our highest paid player" what a tragedy - could have spent that money on a starter or 2
I would be livid if I am our pitcher.... he is already pitching to a billion dollar roster the least his defense can do is play basic fundamental baseball. What a terrible sequence. We have to play near perfect to beat a team like LA - 2 errors in 1 inning equalling a run off a damn walk..... they have 0 hits and 1 run. :banghead:

Just let us enjoy our 1 season and cut the "lucky" crap. Yes we had some breaks but our defense was a championship defense. We were a top 5 program in the 90's with 3 SEC titles and a Natty. Put some respect on the 90's Vols.

I don't know the situation but if its true our chancellor did the things you are saying then she can kick rocks. Hating lane kiffin is one thing - taking down a blueblood charter program is another. I do not support that shite and I apologize on behalf of the sane Tennessee fans

I can't speak for Vol Twitter but that isn't our whole fanbase - its just a group of trolls that hate Lane Kiffin not LSU - Typically Tennessee fans root for LSU out of the west - we hate Bama not LSU.
