Imagine spending roughly $25 million on your roster like poor Arkansas and still being historically bad.

NIL "budgets" are like fishing stories, depending on the source. Often times they are grossly exaggerated. Mainly by agents who want to ever icrease the market for their clients and future clients and donors with big egos (along with money) who want everyone to know the degree of their wealth and commitment.

Personally, I take whatever numbers I hear and decrease it by 25% - 30%. That probably more in line with reality.

Why? It's been pretty well established that we have a top 10 NIL budget.

Looks like UGA is getting the most bang for their buck.

Very surprised at Okie St. I would have guessed at least 20 million considering they brought everyone decent from UNT and then filled out the rest of the roster with portal guys.

I am old enough to remember an SNL skit about Pete Rose making so much money when her got $800,000 a year for 4 years.

Is this ever going to collapse or will there be a $1 billion a year player?

There's zero chance anyone knows the exact amount a school spends on NIL

The last three paragraphs go into this and yet they still just threw out dollar amounts knowing everyone would just react to the graph

One summer day, while he was home for break, he called and had a few of us give him a ride to a lumber yard in Monroe to "get his check", he had never worked a second at the place but was on the bi weekly payroll.

Bradie James and Russell-Moore Lumber Yard… I’m just guessing …

They should be.

Several reports have Alabama's roster being in the $31 million range.
