Bryson, Aberg, Fowler should be a good featured group this morning

Other 2 featured groups are
Xander, Koepka, Hatton (7:29 AM CT)
Rory, Speith, Rahm (7:40AM CT)

So how much did you put on winning score under 267.5?

If its as u say there'll be plenty of guys lower than -12

The betting line is 12.5 so -16 will be an arse kicking on the field.

If betting was legal where I am this week I’d def bet the winner is lower than 12.

ChatGPT says..

quote:

A few notable predictions: * Golf Channel analyst Ryan Lavner predicted -16 because early-week rain should soften the course and create more birdie chances. * Betting previews from Covers noted that softened spring conditions mean Aronimink “is unlikely to truly challenge the elite talents,” implying a relatively low score. * More conservative course-fit analysts suggested that if wind and firmer conditions arrive, the winning number could stay in the single digits under par. My estimate based on the setup, weather outlook, and modern major-championship scoring trends at softened par-70 venues: Predicted winning score: about -13 to -15 under par That would translate to roughly: 280-14=266 Since Aronimink is playing as a par 70, a winner at -14 would finish around 266 total strokes over four rounds.

No first cut of rough and these greens are not gonna be an easy combo.

I think the winner at 12 under is perfectly fine for the PGA championship.

The key is that it is gonna test every aspect of the game and the best players are gonna be able to seperate themselves.

Half the field is over par and the majority of them are close to making the turn.

Its semantics

267 is low as shite. This course “protects” itself by being par 70

This doesnt make sense when the winner in 2018 at the same course shot 260.

They made the course tougher for this week with the greens being fast and the rough being thick right off the fairway.

There were only 4 players over par in 2018. Today half the field is and thats with the light rain it got overnight.

That shows how easy it was. 260

Anything under 274 is low for a major championship winner

What’s frustrating with this course and we have seen it multiple times already is “just get lucky “

Multiple times the entire group bombs it way off line in the rough and 1/3 guys as a dream easy lie 80 yards from the pin and makes an easy birdie

Just happened with Ludvig and likely Brooks now too
