Aberg is like #2 in total driving. Of course he can win. But he’s a mental midget.
I’d categorize the rest in there too although Morikawa might be a sneaky good pick depending on his health. His putter has been better lately but was atrocious the last 18 months.

No one is going to be playing long irons besides par 3s.
The long guys will be wedge in and have an advantage on any tricky pins vs guys hitting 7-9s into greens.
I expect Scheffler, Rory, Rahm and Young to kill this place
Agreed.

Bryson too if his clubs printed correctly

The difference between Rory and Cam Young hitting an approach shot to let's say Morikwara or Henley is Gap Wedge to 9 Iron. It's not much of a difference especially with elite iron players

Whatever you say boss. Morikawa and Henley have really been lighting the world on fire driving it 275 this year.
Again, not saying they can’t compete but they’re at a massive disadvantage and just about every statistic and result thus far this year would tell you that.
Morikawa won at pebble. It plays 6900.

Morikawa also won at Harding Park.
There is minimal difference in a Gap Wedge and a 9 Iron especially when you have elite iron players in the fairway compared to a bomber who could be in the rough and missing fairways.

Harding Park 6 years ago when Cam and Scottie were still in college?
Posted on 5/12/26 at 9:32 pm to STLhog
This has nothing to do with them. And Scottie was in the final group with DJ you stupid frick.
You said Morikawa won on a short course, well Harding Park isn't short and he beat some bombers including Matt Wolfe, Bryson and Finau. You made it clear you watch golf maybe 3-4 times a year. Lol

The course looks interesting but I really dont like par 70 courses as much, especially for a major.

That was a joke dipshit. The point was it was over a half decade ago. Collin has hardly done shite since 2021, has been a horrible putter the last 2 years and got absolutely torched in the Ryder cup this year on a long course.
And since when is 7100 yards “long”?
You just brought up Matt fricking Wolfe and Finau? Casual clown.

Finau was 11th in earnings in 2020 and Wolfe was a top-40 player. You're an idiot. You continue to make yourself look mentally handicap.

Sure but if they're not playing from the fairway it won't matter.
Rankings of importance overall for this week
1. Driving distance
2/3. Approach/ putting
4. Around the green
5. Driving accuracy
Relevant ranking course ratings of importance this week
1. Putting
2. Approach
3. Driving distance
4, around the green
5. Driving accuracy

There is when you're hitting into turtleback greens, you really want to be as close as possible on approach shots.

Do you own a set of clubs?

Yes, I'll be at Audubon later today.
I'm talking about a professional Top-50 golfer here. Not someone guy on a Saturday at a Municipal Golf Course

I get what you're trying to say here, but think about it...do you really think these PGA guys would agree that there's no difference between a 9i & a GW? The same guys that obsess over clubhead grooves & ball dimpling?? Come on now

You think 30 yards doesn’t matter? For Christ sake if that was true a pro would always hit 3 wood instead of driver

Alright, back to original programming.
Who does everyone like? Do the LIV guys actually show up?
Heart says Bryson or Rahm will be in the mix after masters embarrassment but head says Cam, Scottie or Rory,
How we feeling about a Blockie top 25?!? He was calling his shot at Bandon.

Sure feels like Scottie/Rory/Cam vs the field this week

Think it's safe to say for almost 20 years you've proven you're one of the dumbest guys to ever post on tigerdroppings. Your golf takes especially. So there's that.
