2023 Michigan was a great team. Not all time great, but they were great.
Putting the 2024 OSU team in with 2019 LSU is much more blasphemous. That team had 2 losses, one to their unranked rival, and didn't even win their conference

I know you are too busy drooling for a bomb from judge, but even you can understand that beating more good teams makes your resume better.
It isn't taking away from the older teams, but beating more good teams is more impressive than beating less good teams.
2001 Miami and 1995 Nebraska will have less high quality wins than the winner of the 2025 playoffs. It doesn't mean they are better or worse, just that they will have a claim to more difficult wins to get the title, objectively making it a harder road

I’m not sure if Alabama was favored or not.
Also, lol at that Michigan team being possibly tGOAT.
Stop being silly.

Fair enough. But since you brought up Judge, can we use the same logic here? Pitchers are way better than ever, and batters are struggling to hit .300, but Judge hit .331 and 53 bombs. Judge has objectively, compared to his peers, had one of the GOAT seasons offensively.

I don't think people would argue that Judge is likely going to end of in the HOF. I think the argument against him, and really the only one, is he historically has not been great in the postseason and strikes out far too often in those moments. Doesn't mean he's not an all time great

Take is stupid but in this crazy CFB system now that we've got with two Super-Conferences, better opponents and the Playoffs guantlet....current winners now and going forward, undefeateds who survive unscathed will have better CVs than those from the past.
So they will be mentioned, just as LSU fans touted their on-paper CV and # of games played in throwing their hat in the ring arguing GOAT.
I think you'll have a lot fewer undefeated national champions going forward with super conferences and a bigger playoff field. Used to be where you'd play 4-5 top 10 teams along the way to a natty. Now you're probably playing 7-8 counting the playoffs.
Although the B1G keeps beating their chest for the past 2 seasons about being the best conference while their top teams (OSU, Michigan, Oregon, and Indiana) all have conference schedules where they're only going to play 1 or 2 games vs ranked conference opponents in the regular season.

We also have the SEC where every 4-1 team is ranked no matter if they are good or not. LSU, Vandy, Tenn etc. etc.
USC, Washington, Maryland and Nebraska are all 4-1 in the B1G but not ranked.

Ohio State is winning by an average score of 37-5.
Ohio State opponents are averaging 40 points a game when not playing OSU.
Averaging 5 points a game while playing OSU.
His take isn't that far fetched
You've played:
Texas (Unranked)
Grambling (Unranked, obviously)
Ohio (Unranked, obviously)
Washington (Unranked)
Minnesota (Unranked and got beaten badly by Cal)
Maybe let's pump the brakes

The only ranked team they've played is Texas and their inept offense. LOL

Someone is sucking off the Big 10 for sure. Michigan was terrible as far as Champions go. And Ohio State lost to Oregon on the road in a close one. LSU didn't lose a single game and dominated their opponents for most of the season. I don't think it's even close that LSU is the best college team of those 3. And possibly the greatest ever.

Ryan Day is about to go on a run that will make Saban's run look quaint

I think trying to name any program as "dominant" in the NIL era is pretty stupid. There won't be one.

Stick to Eleven Warriors slick, you'll find your audience there.

The 2019 LSU team is very overrated and would've gotten trounced by the 2020 Bama team.

He has had some bad ones (17, 20, 22), but had a great 2018, and was starting to figure it out in the WS last year (but was awful up until the last couple of games, save a couple against Cleveland). I think the postseason issues might be a thing of the past.
