I think Northshore will play Live Oak tough. Northshore has a good coaching staff, some live arms, and some solid players.

ETA: In D1 Select, I don't think Catholic will have any trouble with John Curtis. I think the other 3 series could be good. Ponchatoula won't be a push over for Brother Martin. Jesuit knows how to win this time of year, so STM will have to play well. Not altogether familiar with Acadiana but I don't think Holy Cross is unbeatable.

good list man. really good. I liked the depth you went into on a couple teams, especially st louis.

gonna be a great 3rd round

one thing though, in the sulphur right up, you mentioned them being 1 round away from playing state tournament in their hometown....that is not how it is working this year

all rounds until the finals will be played at higher seed home stadium and are best of 3

only finals are played in sulphur and is best of 3

Barbe's Lefties are solid, just not sure how long they can survive only getting 1 run support the deeper they go. Looking forward to the Slidell / Sam Houston matchup, I think Slidell with Green on the bump can get a win out of it but time will tell.

Went to Ascension Episcopal vs Central Private last night in D4. Central Private went to the bullpen after Coastal Alabama recruit Clayton Kimball had gone less than two innings.

Hayden Pearson (Cajuns) & Jackson Devey each allowed one hit for Blue Gators, who could get district rival VC in quarterfinals.

Checking out St Louis at Catholic NI now

No. 2 VC 3, No. 15 St Edmund 0

VC to host No. 7 Ascension Episcopal in D4 quarterfinals. Blue Gators took three of four from Eagles in regular season.

PBHS upset by Dunham 3-2

UL commit Mitchell gave up 8 H and 5BBs

PB had 5 hits, but failed to manufacture any runs with many free bases given

With Fontenot out, their runs are at a premium and situational hitting is non-existent

Gonna need some shutdown performances from their remaining arms
