USA team in press room now, Jordan says they need to move the Ryder Cup up cause 5 weeks after Tour Championship is too long, excuse making already kicking in.
Then go get exemptions and play some Euro tour events or play competitively somewhere.

LIV players? Only one that deserved consideration was DJ, that's it. But it doesn't matter or didn't matter.
Bryson.
Need guys on the team that aren’t there to make friends, with teammates or the opposition.

I like Rickie but bringing him along just to watch the 1st 4 sessions was stupid. JT didn’t really deserve a spot either, but he at least played well.
It should have been DJ and Bryson, and I can’t stand Bryson.

The Europeans are putting 100% effort in before, during and after each Ryder Cup, while the Americans go about 80%. No Sergio? No Poulter? No problem.
The course was set up to heavily favor the Europeans as Zinger said repeatedly they made wedge shots (American strength) almost not necessary, and narrowed the fairways (Europe drives straighter).
The US needs to respond in the extreme at Bethpage. For example, widen the fairways and all the Captains picks are bombers. Maybe then, the governing bodies will put an end to this ridiculous degree of course manipulation.
As for US Captains, why do we need a new one every Cup? If one is particularly good on the road, plan on keeping them until they lose. Now that Phil has alienated himself, that's one less "it's his turn" captain to worry about. Tiger's turn is coming soon, but will it be home or road? How about both. Give him the next two and see what happens.

I gotta believe Rickie fell ill just before play started.
I was also against JT being included, but he showed up and played his arse off. Biggest pleasant surprise after Homa.
Spieth should never, ever be included in an alternate shot format, because he's just not that good of a ball-striker. Always gets his partner into trouble.
Everyone else laid down, I hate to say.

DJ hasn’t played great this year and outside of Whistling Straights, which sets up perfect for him, he’s been pretty shitty in Ryder Cups.
Keegan and Bryson would have been better than Rickey, though—Even with this course not setting up well for Bryson. Just play him in fourball and singles.

I would take Glover over either of those.

I'm not a fan of previous cup records.
Bryson especially since his was a roided out meathead then.
JT was a bad pick because he stunk all year. Fowler had what 3 months of solid golf with a win, before that, he was terrible.
Spieth has not been the same since his Masters meltdown.
Cam Young is solid for 3 rounds, not 4.
Keegan deserved to be on the team before JT easily.
Captains? There is a definite network in play and needs to end. I like a Toms captain, but maybe he has zero desire to be a part of it.

There plenty of choices that Keegan could have replaced.

Saw Rory shot a bogey free 63 today(likely 67 if 18 is played). That’s nails in match play

Yeah. Burns didn't play great, but 63 in any format is tough to beat. Sam didn't play poorly either. Just caught Rory doing Rory things.
