I agree about Sergio. Seems like a class act.
I also feel like this board can’t stand Berger. I’m just pointing out he wasn’t the worst player in the team this weekend. Regardless, it was pure domination and team effort. The Ryder Cup is an awesome tournament. On to Rome in ‘23!

You have to skip ahead to it. It starts around 11:30 with some background noise as they get setup, then DJ yelling "How ya feeling? Yea, Rice Krispies" at someone.

I’ll bump. Just got home and able to watch and listen.
The European team is a classy bunch. Maybe it’s their damn accents. But seriously, quality people. They got smoked and held their heads high. What I find so interesting, is how well Sergio, Rahm, and especially Hovland speak English. There’s no doubt that not a single USA player can speak a second language like that.
DJ and Xander are bombed. DJ is def the only one who DGAF. When asked if he can out party them, hahaha. Scottie’s answer about Phil was legit. Seems like a good dude. JT seems like a frat star. (Can Finau drink, he’s Mormon right?) Our guys are kind of boring, especially Brooks. Maybe reserved is a better word, maybe just how interviews are handled between here and across the seas. Just less candid.
Hopefully we’re hosting the winner’s interviews again in two years in Rome!
Random side note. Funny how JT lost his Ralph Lauren sponsorship earlier this year and that was who made the Ryder Cup gear this weekend.
Not part of the interview but I thought the funniest moment of the weekend was when Bryson’s caddie told him to use a wood instead of his driver on one of the holes and the gallery boo’ed and he chimed back, “I’m still trying to get this on the green.”
Does anyone know if the long ball tournament that Bryson is competing is on TV and when?

Most of the Euro team lives in the US for part of the year, some primarily. Sergio in Austin, Rahm went to Arizona State, Hovland went to Oklahoma State.
The long drive event doesn’t have a TV partner, so it will be streamed online by the Professional Long Drive Assoc. Bryson’s heat is on Tuesday at noon.
