That was one of the most unathletic things I’ve ever seen. Good lord

Watson needs a two putt for the W

For a par 3 tournament, that was extremely entertaining.

That’s what made it so unatheltic, he’s clearly a freak athlete

He absolutely placed his ankle back in place right there on the course

I don’t like this years Masters website. Not easy to use IMO.

I can’t imagine he’s going to have much a week after that. Dislocating a joint is so painful the days after it happens

Wow, hol-lee-shat. Just saw that ankle
Posted on 4/4/18 at 5:16 pm to ReauxlTide222
I'm wondering if he's one of those types that dislocate it frequently. Like some of the people who can dislocate a shoulder and pop it.
Posted on 4/4/18 at 5:21 pm to Rhino5
Might be. He didn't seem to freak out once it dislocated which I definitely would have done.

That is one tough human being to have presence to see exposed ankle bone and pop it back in. That or adrenaline and not wanting to look stupid are huge motivators.

To both of y'all's points, maybe.
One one hand, he was cool calm and collected. But don't people sometimes, when something traumatic like that happens, sorta go on autopilot and handle stuff pretty calmly?

He finished the par 3 contest and gave a "we'll see" quote to someone walking off the course
I don't think he plays

If it was the right ankle, I'd feel better.
But left ankles roll to the outside in righty golf swings.
That is gonna be a problem.

I hope they give the patrons some head protection for the honorary starters shots. We all know the winner of that thing is cursed. Watson is going to plunk some lady waiting for her sausage biscuit tomorrow

Watson could probably finish top 25 this week after today
Posted on 4/4/18 at 8:06 pm to ReauxlTide222
No he would make the cut but falter on weekend.
