Masters.com has a link to the interview where he said he's using it one last time.

Maybe Ben Crenshaw can wear Tom Kites glasses this week and come away with another magical win. It's a travesty that those sweet frames never won a Masters.

Tiger Chipping(With Terrible Music in the Background)

They all looked clean. Hopefully it will carry over into the tourney.

How about a little contest for forum bragging rights? Everybody can pick 5 players and the worst score will be eliminated. Best 4 player total is the winner. Any interest??

Watching Tiger chip and pitch yesterday seemed fine to most, but I don't know how it'll hold up in competition. He has been practicing basically for 9 weeks, so during that length of time you can get away with things. His swing/motion with his pitch shots looks a little long and almost looks like he is decelerating. Anyone else notice this?

I think it looks great. It is a lot easier to deliver the bounce with a slower swing. The ball typically flies softer as well which allows for a more consistent landing. I hate violence any time I have a wedge in my hands.

I agree, it did look more feel oriented than technical. Just something that I noticed and was wondering what some of you thought.

There is an instructor from CA that has a short game video that addresses this and he said the feel for most of us ams is one of deceleration because we were taught to put the ball back, hands forward and accelerate through the ball. He calls it the karate chop method. I have been working on it and it is amazing how much more forgiving this technique is. You can literally hit two inches behind the ball and get an acceptable result as oppose to leaving the ball at your feet.
