Whether regular golf fans like it or not, causal golf fans want to watch Tiger and see what he's doing. It's why I get 50 million ESPN updates on him from my app but not much on Spieth. I get people wanting to see other golfers in coverage, but that's just the reality of why we see what we see.
At dinner last night the TV had Masters coverage and the first thing out of my 80 year old grandmother's mouth was "Is Tiger playing?".
