He clearly makes his position lining up to the ball better/ stance, but I’m not sure he improved the path of the ball flight or swing path after watching the line he actually hit the ball.

It was 100% obvious and it’s ridiculous to argue otherwise. The only argument to be made is “others have done it and they aren’t penalized”, which while true is a terrible argument

My only complaint with golf penalties is how unevenly they are applied. If Bryson was +2 and there wasn't a camera on him for that, and it wasn't on the internet, he wouldn't have gotten a penalty. It's asinine that the internet, or an announcer, or anyone outside of other players, caddies, or rules officials can effectively initiate an instant replay review. No other sport allows this outside influence.
