All the controversy aside, who’s everybody pulling for over the weekend…or who do you pick to win it? Looks like conditions will be similar to the first 2 rounds, with a chance of a passing shower tomorrow.
Personally, I’m pulling for Sam Burns. After getting hosed on the casual water ruling in the US Open last year, he’s finished no worse than 26th in any major this year and 2 of his three major appearances were top 10, including second at the US Open. I think it’s just a matter of time before he breaks through.

only complaint with golf penalties is how unevenly they are applied. If Bryson was +2 and there wasn't a camera on him for that, and it wasn't on the internet, he wouldn't have gotten a penalty. It's asinine that the internet, or an announcer, or anyone outside of other players, caddies, or rules officials can effectively initiate an instant replay review. No other sport allows this outside influence.
