Scottie, Rory, and Xanded grouped together.

That's a good group to follow around.

A couple of good pairings.

The Thomas, Morikawa, and Keopka group would be good too.

IMO, they need to move the PGA back to the middle of August when it used to be

Can't have the PGA in August with the HQ and one of the courses in Frisco. Too damn hot.

Isn't that why they moved it, so they weren't limited to northern courses because of the heat?

Bit cool seeing all the players live. Many are taller than you expect.

I think this is based on your own height because I always felt like most of the players were shorter than I expected them to be.

Yeh I felt like overall they seemed tiny in person. Not just shorter but smaller as well

A bunch of the top 10 players in the world currently are 5'10" and under.

Xander, Rory, Morikawa, Hovland etc

The size was what threw me off not the height. Like for some reason the camera makes them look kinda stout. They were petite. Like kinda girly petite And I’m a pretty small guy myself in terms of stature (only 170lbs)

This is a category that Brian Harman should always be included in, even if he’s dropped to #12

For sure. I think it’s mainly because they hit it so far and TV can make people seem wider.

But JT and Rory were the most jarring ones to me I think considering how far they hit the ball. Or Brooks because people talk about him being built like a linebacker and he’s way smaller than I am

All 3 Fireballs GC guys made it through qualifiers. Only other LIV guy to qualify was Dean Burmester

Keep looking for Joaquin Niemann’s name on tomorrow’s tee times

Xander was most jarring to me. He looks thick on tv. I could put that little guy in my pocket

Also didn’t help he was partnering with Cantlay and Cantlay js the exception. That was a big boy in person Yuuuge arse on that guy

Ooh. Looks like it’s going to be 93 or so Friday afternoon and they’ve put a little wind in the forecast on the weekend with very little cloud cover.

Here for the carnage.

Partially. It was also moved because of the FedEx Cup playoffs which started 1-2 weeks later.

It’s something because man, it’s a bunch of pocket sized narrow shouldered baws out there.

A few guys are surprisingly stout in person(Spieth comes to mind) but most were smaller than I figured.

My gf refers to him as “Wide Load.” She gets a kick out of it when she can tells it’s him from 2 miles away because of those birthing hips.
