How much money is NBC burning right now showing these last few groups of unknowns finish? Not a single spectator on the whole damn property.

Primetime golf is fantastic!

For about an hour and a half. The last hour has been full of unknowns and amateurs, and there’s 30 minutes left of prime time coverage.

Course is playing like the John deere classic. This is not a US open test.

Azinger saying it was way too easy and USGA fricked up by making fairways too damn wide. Says they will have to hide pins to make it play close to a US Open.

ETA can’t wait for Brandel and Lucky Charms to chime in

Lot of golf left to play.

If it doesn’t rain anymore the course will get firm and fast. Pins will get tucked. And par will be a good score.

If it does rain, it will be birdies.

Easiest conditions today will be in the AM, so I expect him to get passed on the leaderboard later.

I'd like to see you try hitting a ball in that kind of rough.

Lot of projection here.

And if he was a bitch, he would of let that whiff affect him and he would of double or triple bogeyed. Instead, he made a great, strong putt for bogey and kept himself in the thick of it.

Just hiding pins is one thing, The USGA's worst nightmare will be watching players using lob wedges into the greens. It will be like throwing darts again. Even the longest guys look like they can hit these fairways blindfolded.

Agreed. I wonder how much this week will play into the growing chatter to dial back the golf ball at the pro level. There’s not enough real estate to go longer as it’s playing 7,400 yards. And unless they want to go with 20 yard wide fairways in the future, I don’t see how they win this battle without dialing the ball back. Hell, one of the par 3s yesterday was playing 250 and most guys hit 5 iron.

Power is out here so I can’t watch. Assuming you’re talking about Paige. She is the absolute fricking worst of all time.
