Reminded me of OK State in 2011. High above the post and the ref just guesses if it would have touched the pole had the pole been up there.

According to what angle you look at. I’ve looked at one thought it was good. Looked at another and decided it was no good. Looks no good here:

When I was a ST coordinator I can’t tell you how many times my dumbass kickers asked me “did I make that” in practice or warm ups

baseball has ABS which can track the flight of a baseball at 100+ mph with regards to an invisible to the naked eye strike zone -
and football can't use - or won't use for certain reasons - the same tech to determine if a ball is kicked between 2 uprights extended in the same manner

This is just dumb. It was close so of course he thought he made it.

Does the entire ball have to be inside the outside edge of the extended goal posts? I googled and apparently the NFL and college rules are different but I gave up before finding a good explanation

He missed it. Hooked it badly. Not sure why people wanna let Franklin and the kicker off the hook here.
Above the uprights is a miss in college. Ball has to be completely within them. If any part of the ball wouldve touched the upright its a miss.

nope, hard headed
They could use electrics in ball to know if a 1st down or not, none of this stretching the flags to check spot

They ran 3 BS vanilla plays to set up the FG at the 20. I literally said they need to get 5 yards closer when they got to the 20

Holy shite, bro. What a terrible lack of knowledge.
Edit- the way you phrased this sentence seems to argue any ball that's above the uprights is a miss. That's incorrect.

There really isn't anything here to debate.
He missed the kick, though it was close I guess.
