Looked like PM sold that late hit play. Just saying. You swallow the whistle in that situation

he pushed him when he was out of bounds. You need to call the rulebook no matter the situation. If it was Burrow and they swallowed their whistle this board would be melting.

I understand leaning to a no call on a borderline call, but that was clear and obvious he pushed him when he was out of bounds.

Not when you are already clearly 2 steps in the white you don't. You can't.

Bengals made some stupid plays down the stretch so it looked fixed but called right...except that do-over play the Chiefs got and that awful PI against the Bengals late, when the defender was covering the WR like everyone does, arm loosely draped around the Receivers back.

But by in-large, Bengals caused their own downfall.

I don't know about that. I dislike LSU fans as much as anyone but that penalty was questionable.

It was the right call. League will protect qbs.

Look at it another way. If they don’t call it and knowimg Mahommes was dinged up, if he was hurt on that play and in OT can’t play, then there would be outrage in not calling it.

He was clearly out it wasn’t a close decision. Guy pushed him and maybe was trying to hurt him? We’ll never know his motives but all things equal he cost the Bengals the game.

He’s paid big bucks to play football as his primary job and made a massive blunder knowing it was late. Its not like he does this as a part time job its 24/7/365 and he knew the rules.

It was the correct call. The wrong call was the missed holds which would have been offsetting.

I dont think people are upset at the late hit that was one of the very few call the refs got right.

The shove out of bounds was the right call. The numerous blatant calls that were missed were not the right calls.

Call the Blatant HOLDING on #65 grabbing Hendrickson and Mahomes run is moot point.

Was it really though? It’s a big all out hustle play. It’s not like he jacked up MEhomes.

Are you that Burrowblind?

Mahomes had both feet well out of bounds and it was a pretty good shove. This is coming from someone who was hoping the Bengals would win.

They had a roughing the passer penalty on the Chiefs they didn’t call the series before. Ref just looked at Burrow.

Neither contact did anything for the game. The refs only called the late hit for Mahomes and gifted them the game.

There is a better angle that shows his left heel still in

He had a foot out of bounds, which makes him out of bounds. They will call that most of the time and they should have there. If you call it in Week 1, you should call it in a playoff game. I hate seeing a game called differently based on the scenario. If it’s a penalty, it should be called regardless of the situation.

And I was rooting for the Bengals. It was a dumb decision to shove him.

It wasn’t even close he was way out of bounds

Different angles but notice just as qb goes out 58 still has arms down and not until qb was way out did he raise them and push him. It was way out and seemed he tried to hurt him on purpose. Maybe he lost track of firld position amd thought it woukd go to OT and tried to rough him up?

Well the refs pull this shite at the end of the games all the time in the NBA. At least the NFL refs only pulls this out every now and then where they truly give away a game at the end to one team.

I don’t think its intentional but incompetance. They rely on replay to fix errors instead of getting it right. Plus modern tech with slo mo has shown way more angles than used to.

NFL needs refs paid year around and train. Every game graded by vet refs and score low go thru remedial. Too many and gone. Every ref signs statement of their childhood face teams and can’t ref those games. Caught lying and fired plus pay a huge fine. All refs liked teams and need vetted to not let them ref those games
