The coach for Kansas, who will be known as little bitch from this point, got mad after having almost 400 rushing yards against his defense and no points in the second half. He claimed student threw a pocket knife at his staff during the game. The Big 12 has fined Kansas $25,000 for making a false accusation.
No knife was found.

Update. So a knife was found. Per video released the knife was planted by a Kansas football staffer.

Honestly, not a great look for Leipold.

He bitched out Joey McGuire at midfield about the tortilla tossing from the fans, even though the refs penalized Tech twice for it. Then he casually added on the knife accusation during the postgame press conference.

If somebody really tossed a pocket knife, he should've at least notified the refs and threatened to pull his team off the field. None of that happened, though.

I’ve seen that picture a lot over the years. What game is that from?

Edit; just looked it up. Apparent a TT win over Aggie in early 2000s.

After beating A&M in 2001, Tech students tore down the goalpost and threw it into the Aggie section. GAP kid, who was actually 13 yrs old and not yet a Tech student, led the way.

I miss the A&M-Tech rivalry. Another casualty of conference realignment.

The Gap kid game and story is legendary. There’s so much going on in that pic like pirate guy. Some old aggy at the game was slinging his binoculars at kids. It was some day.

I’m not a fan of the tortilla shite but if you make the CFP I won’t be mad if you take out some SEC/Big ten.

We hung with missouri the entire game and Texas Tech crushed us

No thoughts on this incident, but if you're a gambler, Texas Tech is your best friend. Have been a max bet play every single weekend and they're 6-0 ATTS. Free money.

What’s to stop opposing fans from throwing tortillas to draw a penalty?

This is a wild accusation to throw out.

He couldn't say that a student said the bad word to a black staff member or player?

Clearly this guy sounds like a homophobic racist for not including black and or LGBTIA+ !!!!!!! community.

Didn't TXTech fans smear sh*t on an A&M bus the last time A&M played a BigXII football game at Tech?
