With all the musical talent to emerge from DFW, why did the Rangers feel the need to bring in Creed to inspire the crowd and team? How did they think that was a good idea?

Did you watch the lead singer on Theo's podcast?

Oofff.

He still thinks the late 90s are now.

I mean…in DFW you have:
Pantera
Toadies
Erykah Badu
Old 97s
Post Malone
Norah Jones
Deryl Dodd
Dorrough Boy
Ray Wylie Hubbard
Jonas Bros
Tripping Daisy
Bowling for Soup
St. Vincent
Drowning Pool
Fair to Midland
All of which would have been a better choice to pump up the crowd.

Watch this, he lives in the late 90s still.

Very odd way he speaks.

Fantastic link, mate. That was fascinating

Most delightfully cringe thing I’ve seen since Ricky Gervais in the original “Office”.

After I finished the Stapp / Theo Vonn podcast, YouTube recommended a video of Creed playing “My Sacrifice” from a concert last month.

I’m ashamed to say that I was singing along at full volume a couple minutes in. But Scott Stapp is so cringy

Two other bands with equally douchey front men are Collective Soul and Live. Highly recommended in a fricked up way if they ever play in your town

There’s a good bit of “Who?” on your list, and the other acts are either too big or too extreme to take that gig.

Why bother mentioning Norah Jones or St. Vincent for something like this?

Lol at the fact that we have LSU Coyote and SirWinston, two of the biggest losers on a website full of losers, in this thread jerking each other off about how cringey an extremely rich and famous lead singer is over a podcast that he was basically unanimously praised for in the YouTube comments.

Scott Stapp sounds like a typical 50 year old man from Florida, no clue what you two autistic weirdos are hearing. I skimmed through that podcast and he seems very calm, very down to earth, and very open about his problems
