That's understating it. This is easily the worst field I've seen on Tour since the fall series. Pretty abysmal.

I'll be there all weekend. Sucks to hear it's a lackluster field. It's a tough course.

This tournament just has a somber feel about it, and it doesn't help that the Master's was a couple weeks ago.
It is only Thursday in the spectator sense, but there is absolutely nobody out there. The field is pretty awful too.

There are 4 Texas tour stops and Houston is the only decent field usually. Even Colonial has gone down hill and the Nelson seems to get worse every year. Colonial used to be one of the "2nd majors" along with the other invitationals.
What is it about Texas and not wanting to play here?

Good Question, I think later in the season it's because it's too hot, but the weather now is perfect for golf.

Guys have to play a lot of events coming up, so they take these events off. Plus TPC San Antonio is a terrible golf course
