They have spent triple that just making sure he can play, the whole thing is weird. He’s not some generational player and he won’t even play every game

He's running for the US Senate. Needs all of the west Texas votes that he can get.

I think I find the most grotesque thing about this is TT trying to use this as some sort of springboard to the big boy's table instead of actually winning something of note.
And its going to have the opposite effect. They made themselves into a pariah now and any shot they might’ve had at getting consideration from the B1G or SEC in the next round of conference realignment is gone.

CC's ego really this big? Sorsbys lawyer in court, rules don't apply. Now using rules to make Big 12 back off?

TT is in B12 not SEC so nothing matters in the big scheme.

You keep repeating this, he’s talking about the actual residents of texas that vote, not members of football conferences

Wait until they sue to get into the SEC and the courts decide all college football conferences are cartels.

It doesn’t affect their team. TT is not in those Tx SEC teams football path. They are not going to vote for the other party solely because of Paxton supporting a judge.

I keep seeing dumb posts thinking a football fan would change vote for a Dem over Paxton over this, now that would be dumb.

We are in this situation because the people in charge decided to keep the money train flowing as long as possible rather than plan for this inevitable issue coming to the forefront NCAA and the sports power brokers sat on their hands for decades to collect as much cash as they could before the fat lady sang.

bullshite, if anything, we’re seeing that the NCAA was correct all along.
