I know I just think that's too many. Bring in a&m and one of the Virginias or North Carolina...

I wouldn't mind just A&M and Clemson. I know that Clemson doesn't open any new markets to you...but I think it would be a good fit for the SEC.

You think Texas becomes independent if teams jump from the Big12?

They have their own network now and all...

Mizzou is a good school...strong in hoops...decent in football...owns the St. Louis market.

Yeah, on paper they are a great fit, but they are about as far from an SEC school as you can get. They would water the conference down in terms of tradition IMO.

Independence. In fact, I think Texas may like this. If these teams do move conferences, it gives Texas an easy out to become independent, which might be what they want to do anyway right now, but don't want to deal with the repurcussions of themselves being the ones who collapsed the Big Twelve. But if that happens on its own, then Texas gets what they want, without the negatives.

With their new network they would go independent in football. Baseball and basketball would be kinda screwed though. Being an independent in those sports isn't exactly feasible.

Conference Expansion board might come back

Wonder if it becomes an annual affair, like coaching changes morphed into.

I don't like the idea of a sixteen team SEC though, for real.

im on the record saying this wont happen,,but if it did it would be interesting to day the least.
I still see,, ND joining Texas and a few other big names as some sort of conference eventually.

one thing for sure, whatever happens next isnt the end of it

I'd take it. Ditch Florida, Bama and Aubie every year and pick up OU and A&M.

Done.

and Missouri markets.

KU owns the KC market, but Mizzou is a strong second. Eastern half of the state is all Mizzou.

No idea

Not much on our board about it

OSU and OU will definitely be a package deal though

Mizzou is a great school and dominates STL

But their fans would not fit well in the SEC

Texas to the Big X if this happens.

Very Possible.

I could see that

Although I don't see how they could go to the Big 10 with the Big 10 Network and their new UT Network

This would have to be a huge hang up

I'd rather take fsu or unc, if we take schools from Texas, Oklahoma, and Mizzou it wouldn't really be the southeastern conference anymore
