If my memory's correct, the same stuff happened with Calvin Ridley a few years ago. Even the fantasy sites report to the leagues if they suspect an account is a player or someone related to a player.

In addition to the algorithms, that's something else that's going to self-regulate this. This isn't the '70s where games were on tape delay or only a couple were shown live. Every game is online with the ability to instantly record it, edit it, and post specific clips online. Hundreds of millions of people have the ability to examine the tape like if this was the movie Blue chips analyzing. Tony

I wanted Epstein justice and all I got were drug busts and gambling arrests.

Sources are telling me this goes beyond the NBA: LSU HC Brian Kelly is being investigated for alleged illegal gambling

Look at these histrionics

quote:

Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier is also charged in a separate but related illegal gambling case. He is among six people charged Thursday with turning professional basketball into a criminal gambling operation by using inside information to place unlawful wagers, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

FBI Director Kash Patel is expected to announce the charges along with other law enforcement officials during a news conference Thursday in New York City.

Lord, if the DOJ/FBI press release is the one using that language...

I'd wait for some more information because they're sensationalizing these stories. It could have just been someone at the game who has a connection that may not even be direct.

What’s triggering the alerts are an influx of money on otherwise trivial bets, not so much the individual identity of the person. Your account averages $10 bets then all of a sudden you’re putting $5k on a Tarry Rozier parlay under 10 points and under 6 rebounds, that’s going to raise some flags. Then they go investigate the account and you’re Terry’s third cousin or his driver and you’re going to be in trouble.

I have zero faith in the FBI. Until I know for certainty otherwise this will be viewed as a grandsdanding event for Patel

Mike Postle

When I was a semi professional poker player I followed Doug Polk a lot and he'd always have stories about those West Coast private games. They sound insane.

The Allin guys reference them too. They have their own huge/private games. Like 7-8 figure stacks
