He tried bowling first but it didn’t end well.

You’re funny when you’re not melting on the Poli board. I recommend chilling out here for a bit.

Who basically sent himself into an early retirement and death. Guy was a blob of disgusting when it ended.
quote:
Late in life, Henry became obese, with a waist measurement of 54 inches (140 cm), and had to be moved about with the help of mechanical devices. He was covered with painful, pus-filled boils and possibly suffered from gout. His obesity and other medical problems can be traced to the jousting accident in 1536 in which he suffered a leg wound. The accident reopened and aggravated an injury he had sustained years earlier, to the extent that his doctors found it difficult to treat. The chronic wound festered for the remainder of his life and became ulcerated, preventing him from maintaining the level of physical activity he had previously enjoyed. The jousting accident is also believed to have caused Henry's mood swings, which may have had a dramatic effect on his personality and temperament.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers played it as King Henry in the excellent "Tudors" series and also in Woody Allen's last great movie "Match Point". This same film also introduced us to the delightful Matthew Goode (pictured below with JRM), who is the best "British" actor since Hugh Grant. They're essentially the same actor - he's fantastic in "The Crown" and multiple other offerings. Finally, "Match Point" was also the absolute pinnacle of the sexiness of Scarlett Johansson. She positively OOZED sex appeal with that husky voice of hers and those majestic breasts. Damn.
It always makes me chuckle how badly most actors throw or do anything athletic, and this was no exception.
Rhys Meyers is also one of those people (Joaquin Phoenix is another) who is like so handsome that he looks borderline retarded sometimes.
Scarlett Johansson at her absolute pinnacle of desirability (above)
