Wow, Dominator going to serve for the match. I looked away for a few points and didn't really see what happened on the break.

Fed got cute with two drop shots in a row. Thiem made a great play on the first one especially, but the second one looked a little sloppy to me.

Great tournament by Dominic

Big win for the dominator that I didn't see coming.

I feel terrible for Fed.*

what a story from Fowler just now. Chris Evert got lost while hiking and ended up in someone's backyard. they informed her she was trespassing. she asked for a ride back to her hotel and they said no. Evidently the hike started with Patrick McEnroe because Cahill then asked how they got sepatated to which Fowler said "unclear"

So she hiked back?

Anyone have some extra tickets to Houston this year? Lol. I'm thinking of going for the 2nd round matches on the Friday, tickets are more expensive than I would have guessed.

And lets go Miami. Sandgren must have been one of the last rankings that got a direct acceptance. With a win he would get to play Kyrios in the 2nd.

I guess the draws were made before Mackenzie McDonald has gone on his run of late. He had to qualify, lost in the last match, then got a Lucky Loser spot. Talk about some ups and downs.

eta: Fed and Stan look to meet in the 3rd round.

(That would be AWESOME if Pride had some tickets!)

Poor Keys. Fought back from a set and two breaks or something. Had control of the third at like 4-2 and lost it to Stosur. Ugh.

Yep, that was hard to watch. I think her mind was already in tiebreaker mode and went out and gave up a quick break to end the match.

I think Tennys was up 5-4 in the 3rd set tiebreak and gave up 3 points to lose the match. Been a pretty rough tourney for the Americans already.

You know tennis interest is down when Fed drops a set to Albot and no one cares.

It’s a meaningless masters tournament happening in the middle of March Madness. It’s hard to blame folks for not caring too much about tennis at the moment.

It's really terrible timing now that I think about it. Ignoring the fact that a Masters directly after another Masters is dumb to begin with, you're competing with the first weekend of hoops right now, and then for the later stages of the tennis tourney you have to compete with March Madness combined with opening weekend for MLB.
