Besides a single player being able to heavily influence things, it is also a sport which actually has a lot of action bet-wise.

Part of why the Bama baseball coach got busted is that college baseball has almost no betting action, which meant no one wanted to take any sizable bets on it. (Couldn’t offset enough to even out the action)
