I tell you this. One year, way early in my gambling career, I was doing those football cards back in the day. After losing my first 5 or so, I started doing one with teams 3-5 I thought would win, and one with just 3 picking random numbers (the teams were numbered). I won 2 in a row with the random numbers and upon further investigation, realized 2 of those were East Carolina. So, I started betting single East Carolina games and went something like 8-2 or whatever the rest of the year.

I tried to carry that on the next year but no luck and quit after losing 3 straight or something. As years went on, I always think back to that year when I see East Carolina.

25 years later, I still don't even know who the mascot is and don't think I've ever watched one of their games.

All things are possible through Southpaw, Red Dog, and Icehouse.

Poor decisions and not going to class will also get you there quick. Absolutely no regrets. I’d do it again

Fair.

But how much better was USC?
The quality of people there are just better

I had a little rant on ECU in the Gamecock board maybe I’ll find it

They are one of the trashiest schools in the country

The ACC Carolina schools are never going to break up now that they have their own network with ESPN.

SEC should add Cincy and ECU for Ohio and North Carolina. That adds 21 million people to the SEC footprint and shitload more money to the SECN.

Go to 4 team pods and just send the two teams w/the best records to SEC title game.

As part of ECU's entry into the conference they are required to hire Mike Leach.

I follow them, but I grew up on LSU football (Dad is a grad), which just happened to be the golden era for LSU. Pulling too hard for anyone else just doesn’t feel right.

I grew up about 35 minutes away from ecu.

Party school
Fun, hot chicks
Rabid, loyal football fans
29,000 students
Not a lot of people know this, but it also has a med school

I almost went there

It was my #1 after I went to the campus until I visited WVU

It is definitely a wild party school that is under the radar
