Lived in Greenville for a summer while doing a 13 week contract at the medical center there. Pretty rabid fan base and super nice people there. Those kids throw down on weekends too it’s like an sec school/Florida state on a smaller scale. It’s not nearly as pretty as some areas of NC but I enjoyed it so much my wife and I actually thought about living there.
Most Of the ECU fans and alumni we met and worked with favored one of the big 3 basketball teams as well as their ecu fandom.

Pretty campus although Pitt County/Greenville doesn't rival the beauty of other parts of the state. The party school of NC. Hot women.

I dated a girl that played volleyball at ECU. About all I know about ECU.

I remember one year where they started off the season with back to back wins against VT and WVU (back when Pat White was still there no less). Everyone was hyped for the rest of their season but they turned out to be a meh season in the end, but those first two games were fun. I remember ECU fans rushing the field after the WVU win. After the game Skip Holtz was doing the post game interview on the field and all of the fans behind him were trying to rush to him and there was this one security guard/cop trying to hold a mob of fans back and hilariously failed and almost got trampled. I tried searching for a gif or video of that because it was really funny to see but alas I can't find it but I'll never forget it.
That game is when I knew Bill Stewart could not coach
RIP tho, great man.

What a horrible idea.
You don't want more purple in the conference? Why do you hate LSU's colors?

Them and App State are the better football fans in the state. I believe ECU may have the biggest or second biggest college stadium in NC and they fill it better than the Triangle schools can fill theirs. Typically nice fans as long as they don't know if you are a fan of UNC or NCSU. They can get weird real quick if they find that out.

I was stationed at Cherry Point and would go party in Greenville a lot. Also went to a couple football games. Still my #2 squad after LSU. There's a guy in my neighborhood up here in Seattle with an ECU sticker on his car. We're boys for that reason alone. With that said, G-Vegas is kind of a dump and not on the beach. It does have a little downtown with some bars and whatnot. Not comparable to a P5 school.

They play in a nice 50k stadium, yet I’ve never met one ECU fan or seen one piece of merchandise
