What were his issues at LSU and Georgia? Was it mental health stuff or was there more to it than that?

Mental health problems, severe mental health problems. Hopefully he can overcome it and live a normal life let alone play football

There was strong smoke that he was diagnosed bipolar or schizophrenia at the end of the LSU tenure. LSU team had him on good meds, but they killed the desire/motivation to play football. His mom and UGA staff thought he’d do better close to home so he transferred. He stopped the meds to play but UGA staff found out that was a bad idea. Something happened that got him dismissed from the team but I believe it was announced that he was portaling. Probably won’t see this guy in the SEC ever again, or perhaps football in general. A real shame.

This adds up and is also more than anything I’ve ever seen posted on the Rant.

Hoping for his sake that leaving the South may be good for him and that Nebraska is prepared to offer the resources necessary to help him if/when he encounters a hurdle. A win for him at this point would just be graduating from college, let alone playing a meaningful down of football.

Yeah he needs to forget football imo. I say that as someone who has dealt with my own mental health struggles.

Him and Fidone will be the highest rated high school tight ends to never play for the same school

A Gatorade HS NPOY who can't get on the field 3 years into his career tells you some big issues are going on.

That’s the most detail I’ve heard on this story and I’m here everyday. I actually believe it.

Regardless of what it means football wise, I hope he continues taking the meds he needs and can have a healthy, productive life.

He was on the field for 2/3 of his freshman year at LSU, and he was legit very good.
