I'm assuming your talking about 97-98 teams with Rattay and Edwards.

No, I'm talking about 90,91, and 92 (Joe Raymond Peace's teams vs Curley Hallman's teams). Tech played really good defense back then. Auburn beat us 16-14 on a last-second FG. We tied South Carolina 12-12 in 91 and they beat us 14-13 in 92. Alabma (the national champs that year) beat us 13-0 (TD on a punt return). Ole Miss beat us 13-6 on an immaculate reception-type play in 92 and they beat LSU 32-0 that year.

LSU was 12-21 from 90 to 92 and Tech was 21-10-3.

But I think '97 and '99 would have been good games too... we just didn't play much defense under Crowton and I like defensive teams.

I had to give myself a 24-hour break from thinking about how much Tech sucks balls.

I've been in a coma for 24 hours because of the mere thought of involved in any sexual activity. Which, of course, is difficult to when it sucks balls, blows, has its head up its own arse, and fricks itself.

Well, it's the big day. The camera crews are in Ruston. Show us what direction you're going in, Tech. Show us what you've accomplished by not playing ULM!

How exactly is ULM's level of success a barometer for Tech's success? It's like you're almost admitting that Tech is just chickenshittedly avoiding ULM.

I knew this would get bumped today

19k vs. 9k for Tech's opener against a 1-AA vs. ULM's. Lets see the difference between Tech's weekday game and ULM's weekday game.

It has always been my theory that Tech isn't playing ULM so that apethy may drown that program out of existance. We will see next Tuesday how apathetic ULM fans are.

ULM's fans are also LSU fans, and the ULM game was at the same time as a televised LSU home opener and SEC contest.

If I'm not mistaken, cable television hasn't reached Lincoln Parish yet, and most households don't even have electricity or running water.

so ULM gets a pass for having shitty attendance for their first home game since their fans are LSU fans and would rather watch LSU. Tech is shite right? But at least the fans of a shitty school would rather watch their own team in person than LSU on TV.

Wasn't it raining like crazy for ULM's opener?

It rained for 2 weeks leading up to Tech's opener and was supposed to rain during the game. There was a storm rolling in right after kick off, I was keeping my eye on the dark clouds moving our way but we lucked out somehow and it fell apart and we just got a few sprinkles.

Yes, but they could at least do like the LSU fans do and leave at halftime.

Well ULM should be on a
Somewhat Sunbelt winning streak so lets see how that translates into fan support. If they can't get it done after their recent success on the field then it is time to drop down.

supposedly the Hawaii turnout is supposed to be pretty good which was a surprise to me. We were behind some at the ticket office today. Being in Hawaii and playing in the WAC, this is the closest Hawaii gets for some of the alum not on the West Coast. Theres some that hit the game and then make a trip down to New Orleans.
