I actually have no problem with this. Why would a QB risk injuring himself running the ball up the middle for a team that doesn't want him and isn't making the playoffs? I actually think its bullshite that the Jets would ask him to run that package.
Wow. The bullshite excuses obviously will never end

really? because pretty much everyone said it.

I for one think it's awesome if true. However, I seriously doubt that it's true. I'm sure if he did decide not to play, it's way more to do with him still being banged up or further injured than "Trying to prove a point because he's not the starting QB" but

what other package can you run with a guy who can't pass?

tebow is only worth putting on the field if you plan on using him as a wildcat QB - he makes no sense as a traditional QB

Reasonable point.

"Hey, everybody's second guessing me about not playing Tebow? Here ya go! Run the ball up the middle in a garbage game, Jesus boy!"

Team Tebow here.

Good for Tebow. If the Jets din't take him seriously, why should he be called on to help out there inept qb's? Rex has shown that he doesn't respect Tebow's ability, so the Jets don't need to put him in for 3-4 plays.

Ryan said during his news conference that they wanted to use Kerley because of the element of surprise. Afterward Ryan, through a team spokesman, said it was a "coach's decision" when asked specifically if Tebow had opted out.

I think it is funny. Tebow tired of being stepped on and telling the Jets to frick off and trade him right the frick now.

I have no problem with it. They have been fricking Tebow all year and now he is returning the favor.

I don't either. The fact is Ryan lied to Tebow and the media about how he would be used ALL year.

The thug pos here is Ryan. You cammy cum lovers/Tebow haters have it wrong as usual.
