Trae Young would fit well I think.

Yea he's not even close. I was just trying to think of another guy not from the states.

Id say Ben is truthfully more in the class of Nurkic, Porzingis, Damontis Sabonis

Personally I hope he does not make Team USA or get invited

Yeah even more people spending the summer telling him he needs to demand a trade.

Lot's of wing players. Probably need one more big or playmaking point guard in that order.

As a Cavs fan, i cant remember seeing Kevin Love play in at least 2 years. I have no idea how he is on this roster? On the other hand, maybe he can build his trade value back up so the Cavs can FINALLY rinse their hands of him.

I'd rather him work on his game, conditioning, and general health in a controlled setting rather than be away and in the Olympics.

It’s not like he’ll be playing 40 Min a game. And playing basketball isn’t a bad way to stay in shape for playing basketball.

The fact that Love is on this team and announced prior to Zion makes me think Zion said No and/or cant play due to his hand injuries.

They should give Melo an invite. He has resurrected his career in recent years and he’s always been good in this format. He’s honestly better than Kevin Love at this point and there is a 50/50 chance Love will flake out due to his fragile mental state.

being on world stage is not conducive to learning a new shot.
zion cannot do the ordinary jumper form.
if he can do jumpers next season pels get that 6th seed.
if not pels are in the 7 10 scrum with memphis, spurs, mavs and a random top 5 group whose star is out the 2nd half.

and if he does master the ordinary jumper hes starting for usa next Olympics.

back in the day there were tryouts and extensive training.
Barkley and previously mark aguire got in best shape during the training.
if there were tryouts maybe at least you would get the best possible Zion physical fitness.

sounds like they are just inviting best guys and no whittling down from 25 to 12.

Per Shams, Zach Lavine just accepted the last invite.

Monster get. Seriously underrated player.

Sounds like that could be it, unless they take a few more guys as alternates in case anyone drops out.

Jerami Grant also just committed, so it sounds like they are going to take more than 12 and then have a cut down.

On the list that Shams provided, there’s no Harden.

Also if Booker, Jrue, and Middleton make the finals, they will likely be flying to Tokyo as the Olympics are starting.

Imagine a bunch of weaklings like the French trying to stop Zion.

I'll take Rudy Gobert in that matchup.
hes bigger and more agile.
