it’s just baffling it requires this amount of time to get this call correct. Why is there not a small army of refs watching this somewhere relaying the correct info immediately to them

I wonder what this long discussion is about. I would think a personal foul would be 15 yards/half-the-distance to where the play ended no matter when/where on the field the penalty happened. I've never heard it enforced any other way.

Have said this for a million years. The fact that we have some fricker looking at the replays on a damn Surface with a hood is hysterical. Why isn't there a team of 5 dudes in some remote bunker with 100" TVs that can rewind and replay every game from every angle imaginable?
