It’s helping him that it’s this type of game and raining so he can make these short passes that start with him reading the defense
I think he’ll end up being great at it, but his “problem” has been putting his back foot in the ground and firing deeper passes

Mac is gonna be fricking good. It’s obvious through the check downs they don’t necessarily trust him fully yet and he doesn’t trust himself but it’s obvious he has complete understanding of this offense.
The main thing for a rookie QB to me is whether they know how to run the offense, it’s not about the degree of difficulty with throws yet. That’ll come in time, I expect him to be very good next year and on.
What’s most important to see right now is understanding of the game and the offense. Mac has that right now.
