Not only do I think Kobe is top 3.. I think there is a gap between him and 4.

And the players ranked 4-12 are all so close it is basically interchangeable.

If that's the list we're using for the Lakers, he clearly isn't top five.

Magic, Kareem, LeBron, Wilt and Shaq are top five and it's definitive. Any argument otherwise is emotional, not fact based.

Magic only went to the finals 75% of his career winning 5 rings in the process. Played 8 less years than Kobe and still can match rings. 3 finals MVPs which is more than Kobe. Averaged more steals rebounds assists and block per game than Kobe. I'd say there is at least an argument to be made
