Witt's home/road splits are astonishing

KC's ballpark is more hitter friendly than Yankee Stadium.

They are pretty wild
I do think Judge would typically be a pretty heavy favorite but there’s 2 things that may hurt him
1. It seems like guys who have won it before have a higher bar when it comes to being a multi time winner vs someone winning it for the 1st time
2. Let me preface this by saying yes I realize that the Yankees would be nowhere without judge, but I think if Bobby keeps up what he’s been doing since the beginning of July and leads the royals to a playoff spot…that will be massive for his chances to win. Bobby single handily leading a small market team that won like 60 games last year to the playoffs is different than Judge doing it in a Yankees lineup with their payroll and Soto as a teammate.
Again, not saying this is how I feel personally, but I think these 2 things will favor Bobby over Judge when it comes down to it if they’re neck and neck
There’s so much time left in the season that it will likely work itself out though

It should also be noted that Judge is currently -1000 to win the award so it’s not really particularly close at the moment
This is all hypothetical in the event judge struggles a little bit the last month and a half and Bobby continues to play at an insane level

This is VERY suspicious. He hits everything at home but he can’t hit anything on the road. MLB should look into this. THE JUDGE, however, mashes everywhere. THE JUDGE should be an MVP lock, with the triple crown very much in play.

I covered Witt's dad in 1986 when he was a Ranger rookie.
1986 Ranger rookies:
Kevin Brown
Mitch Williams
Rubén Sierra
Pete Incaviglia
Mike Stanley
Jerry Browne
Dale Mohorcic
Bobby Witt
These guys were all in their 2nd MLB season:
Steve Buechele
Ed Correa
José Guzmán
Oddibe McDowell
Bobby Valentine was the manager. Tom Greive was the GM.
Rangers 1986 roster
1986 was a good year for rookies.

Royals were very smart locking him into an 11-year 288m contract after just 1 season in the MLB. Dude is a bargain at 26m a year.

It’s probably sight lines at home vs road,
Quit whining.

High risk high reward.
If he's a flash in the pan they're stuck with that contract. Bad if you're a small market team.

While you were posting that weak excuse, THE JUDGE just went yard again! Back to back with Soto, who also doesn’t seem to have a problem hitting on the road. I guess “sight lines” only affect him.
No disrespect to Bobby. He’s probably my favorite young player to watch. I’m just saying those splits are very suspicious.

I don’t give a shite about the Royals.
I’m surprised you have time to post with the amount of time you have Judge’s dick in your mouth.

Sorry I hurt your little fee-fees, have a cookie and come back when you want to talk baseball like an adult, son.

Yeah, that’s what’s happening; only for you.
Go back to fellating Judge since that’s the only thing you obviously do well.

Aww I’m sorry little buddy. I think it’s time for you to take a nap. Anyway, back to the thread before you childishly derailed it.
It’s extremely impressive what Bobby Witt has put together. It’s still a little bit sus that he can’t do the same on the road. If he could put it all together he’ll be right there with THE JUDGE battling for MVP going forward.

Judge is a regular season stud
No doubt about it
Too bad he’s an epic choker when it matters

Judge bout’ to go NUTS at ChiSox. Five homers? Maybe more? He might OPS 2.000 in Aug. He’s gonna get the triple crown, just watch. Witt is nice, but Witt is to Judge, as Harden is to Lebron. Judge is just so good that everyone else is a footnote. Sorry, guys.

Kaufman stadium is bigger than Yankee stadium from home plate to each distance typically measured.....left field-330, left center-385, center-410, right center-385, right field-330.
Outfielders needs some wheels to cover that outfield.

And it’s easier to hit HRs to RF at Yankee Stadium. Fly out at most major league parks. See how that works .

THE JUDGE averages well over 400 ft per dinger.
