I’m fine with him saying that as long as he reads up on it and forms an opinion in the next month.
He legit might not know enough about it now to comment on it. But based on everything going on, he should do some research and then come back more educated on the matter.

Everyone is making this into a debate over Hong Kong while ignoring this.
China commits horrible atrocities and human rights violations on a daily basis. They also manufacture the shoes that most NBA players wear. That endorsement money is worth the hypocrisy. Imagine the horror of Nike having to pay an American $12/hr to make shoes. Nike execs and NBA players might have to take a pay cut.

Amazing how not a single player or coach in the entire NBA knows anything about anything when it comes to China all of a sudden. I’ll be sure to remember that the next time one of them tries to lecture us on politics.
