Seating is an issue but the real problem is floor place. The Pontchatrain Center can only fit 8 mats and you need space for 10.
The LHSAA is trying to work out a long term deal with the River Center in BR. You would have really good crowds there.

In Ohio that arena would be packed. High school wrestling is big up there. I understand your line of thought though. I’d guess it’s not as much of a big deal down there.

Brother Martin won D1. Parkway won D2.
And my old high school Basile won D3 for the first time since 1991. Whole town is pumped.

Pretty incredible feat by a trio of Holy Cross wrestlers. The Frost family had 3 state champs! 106,113 and 170. The 106 and 113 kids are freshman twins with a shot to win the super rare D1 4 timer
