As a baseball fan, I kind of hate seeing Stanton go to the most HR surpressing park in the league. Although I guess it isn’t quite as bad for righties.

Fences don't apply to Stanton

Miami was a horrible long ball park. Didn’t matter.

I'll be interested to see what they get. That contract is bananas.

Yea marlins park is pretty big. Also, if you see most of Stanton’s homeruns, it doesn’t matter where the fence is.

Give me that shortstop Crawford or whatever his name is and we got a deal, pending giants taking whole contract as well.

@JoeFrisaro: As Stanton’s camp meets with #SFGiants execs in LA, reaching agreement on a trade is not considered imminent. The #Marlins also remain engaged with other clubs regarding NL MVP

i dont see how he agrees to this. i dont know why he would want to go into a park that kills balls like san francisco does while also playing for a team that is completely hoping that crawford and cueto rebound for a chance to make the wild card and then be stuck with the team 5 years from now when posey and bumgarner are old and everyone else is either gone or useless with no legitimate minor league talent to keep the team a winner

i get he wants to be on the west coast, but by god the giants do not seem like the team he will want to attach himself to

Translation: I'm begging he doesn't go to the Giants and beat up the dodgers every year.
