Actually, no. Never thought this was a a Hawks team that could win the Cup anyway. This team got swept in the season series by Minnesota. Minnesota. Just too many miles on some of these players, need to retool with a few others, and definitely need to get deeper on the blue line. They just have no depth at defense.

They can't. Notice how when St. Louis dumps the puck deep their forwards are beating the Chicago D to the puck and winning those battles, especially Seabrook, he's gotten beat bad. That's one of the reasons the Blues had so much zone time at the start of OT.

I know he's played a lot but he only turns 28 this week.

Toews is really showing he's logged alot of miles on his body over his career this series. He doesn't seem to have much jump, looks worn down.

3 cups in 6 years will do that to you. And been in the playoffs the last 6 years as well. They've probably doubled some teams up on how many total games they've played in the last 6 years.

Bouwmeester had a rough game. Feels like we just can never get out of the first round and it sucks. Hopefully we can pull it out on Saturday.

I agree with Pat Foley though, thes e lat night puck drops are wearing on me. Works good because I don't get back from practice til after 10 and was able to catch the 2nd period on radio and all the 3rd and OT on TV, but man I need to go to bed.

Maybe another beer first to settle the nerves a bit before bed.

The Wild struggled down-the-stretch during the regular season, but this is still a franchise that has made the playoffs four consecutive seasons and has advanced the last two.

In any case, I don't think Chicago would get by Dallas, anyway. The Stars have been shredding the 'Hawks all year.
