If the Washington Capitals are not proof that there is no God, nothing will ever be. Has there ever been a franchise that makes the playoffs as consistently and chokes as reliably as the Caps? I'd say there's always next year, but the truth is that we've already seen next year and every other year this year and every previous year. This is a franchise that will never win a Stanley Cup. I guess they just don't have the big time mentality. Great in the regular season, shite in the playoffs. Every. Damned. Year.

Before I joined the military I dunno how much money I dumped into this team. I was played.

Allright guys, final game 7 of the second round. Obviously hoping that Nashville can win the California state championship tonight. Let's go Preds !

I'm a bad person, because I have to admit, I enjoyed the Stars losing so my wife was just a miserable as I am. I couldn't bear to see her team win right after mine got eliminated.

What a meltdown.

I can agree with this. Not watching the Loafs is more entertaining than watching them, at least in the post Gilmour / Clark era

Plus a chance at Jimmy Vesey assuming there's no tampering charge. Speaking of high volumes of high draft picks, when is Edmonton going to make it to the playoffs? Been 10 fricking seasons already.

the Blues have been in Playoffs more times than Caps, and even had a stretch of 25 straight years in the playoffs before a rebuild a few year ago.

Blues have been in playoffs 40 out of 48 yeas in existence.

No one has suffered more than Blues fans. The only thing that kept them from a cup in 1990's-200ish era was redwing teams with nearly half the team being HOF.

Those Redwing and Avalanche teams were stacked.

I could see the Leafs not signing Stamkos for these reasons

Have 3 Centers already under contract Kadri, Bozak, Froese

Do not want to pay the 10 million it is going to take to sign Stamkos

Austin Matthews

Being a Blues fan, is getting kicked in the balls, then while your down on your knees in pain, they some how find a way to kick you in your sack, again.

Russia beat Denmark 10-1

Panarin-Shipachyov-Dadonov line was unstoppable.

You are getting some residuals from TASS I hope. If not, your agent is doing a bad job.
