I'm getting tired of him and Olyzck as well. Going to try to find the CBC feed for some of these games. Damn, these announcers make me miss Thorne and Clement.

What a choke job by the preds. Didn't show up. Hopefully last night was Riberio's last game as a predator

Really stupid penalty by Hamonic there. Especially when you're down 2-0.

Amalie brought the thunder today. Bish outstanding, as usual.

Should be a great ECF. Hoping for Pens/Sens to go 7.

Sucks to potentially lose a captain but Yzerman isn't going to overpay for him. I would rather keep the nucleus intact and run the East for the next 5-7 years. Bolts fans aren't resigned to losing him, but the performance on the ice without him has removed a lot of the potential sting for us.

The roster is just loaded - Stevie Y made one hell of a (non)move by not dumping Drouin when things were ugly. Amazing that the Bolts have turned into one of the best FOs in the league.

Game 6 on doesn't start until 8:00. I wish there was a game tonight.

This Lightning teams chemistry is one of their biggest strengths. Considering our coach, Copper, and many Lightning players have grown-up professionally at the same time within the AHL & NHL. I suppose this isnt to shocking. Hopefully, they can figured out a way to keep most of this nucleus together for 3-5 more seasons.

It was great to see the Lighting finishing these last two series in 5, when they had the opportunity to do so. That's what good teams do and closing those series early doesn't guarantee anything, but it sure keeps a team from getting so beat up. The Lightning gained huge playoff experience going 7 games -vs- Detroit, 6 games -vs- Montreal, and 7 games against New York Rangers during last years playoffs. But that was 20 playoff games played out of a possibility of 21 games to reach the finals last season. Those games & hits add up and take their toll on a team, no doubt. The wins these playoff feel great but even after their success latley. The Lightning haven't won jack yet! There's still a bunch of work left ahead because winning "The Cup" is one tough SOB.

Go Lightning !!!

Yup. Valiant effort by the Islanders though. If Washington can pull it off would be great to see Tampa's toughness vs. washington's finesse.

I see a lot of news about maybe starting Fleury - I really don't see the point in benching Murray at this point, he's been pretty solid.

Game 6 for Preds / Sharks tonight. Game 5's results do not inspire confidence, but neither did Game 1's. Back at home. I think for his game misconduct and overall poor performance, Game 5 needs to be Ribeiro's last game as a Nashville Predator. He was the only change to the lineup. Looking at the statistics, he was a -1 on the night on Saturday, and his statistics weren't terrible. I think Laviolette trusts the third line more when he is in the lineup. You can't do things like get a 10 minute misconduct at the end of the game though.

The Predators typically play 40 good minutes of hockey, they need to either blow out San Jose (like game 3) or suffer the consequences.

We're headed for two straight Game 6 elimination games in my house. The wife is a big Stars fan, so we'll live and die for the next two nights. Our attitude about Game 6 is completely different, based entirely on how we got there. I feel like it's house money for the Caps. The Stars are killing her.

Stars/Blues at 7:00 Central time. Sharks/Predators stuck with 8:00 start time.

Thank God I'm not stuck in Eastern time zone.
