It is very easy in hockey to have a great team (or a run of great teams) make the playoffs time and time again just to get unlucky in a tough series.

Yep. Baseball is like that too. Lot's of similarities to baseball and grinding through the minor leagues, etc.
I'm talking more about these guys mentality and what they go through their entire careers from the time they are 5 years old. Just making it through Junior hockey is a grind. Winning that Cup means everything to every hockey player in the world.

Shocked NBC didn't cut coverage off early right at the top of the hour. I got on NBCSN now so it's good.
I'm anxious but nervous about ESPN/ Turner next year. I actually think Turner will do a better job than ESPN. Turner had Gretzky on the golf coverage last night and was already plugging the NHL. ESPN, I think hockey gets buried by them.

As much as I hate to say it, lightning was the best team in the playoffs. Vasalevsky dominated the net, Roy/brodeur style all playoffs.
