Everyone saying Chris Paul to the Spurs is a handshake deal and will happen.

With Paul, that will give them arguably the best big 3 in the NBA with Paul, Leonard, and Aldridge. No way Ginobli retires with that lineup so you will have him, Mills, and the deepest bench in the league to go with the best coach in the league.

I dont see how anyone can match up with that lineup

There is a long way to go. Anyone saying this is just trying to fill week-long dead air between MJ vs. Leborn takes leading up to the finals.

they are at 93 mil without Ginobli and Mills on the books for 2017. To get Paul, they would have to deal Pau.

All that and that Chris Paul is absolutely going to make a show of his free agency. He is going to love the publicity.

The end of the day, he will be back in LA cause they will offer him more than anyone else.

If there is anything that I have learned from being a Spurs fan for the last couple of decades, it's that you don't know what they are going to do until it happens. There are no leaks in the front office.

That being said, I am very skeptical that the spurs would be able to get this deal done without completely gutting the depth of the team.

Spurs need more than Leonard, Paul, and Aldridge to be better than The Warriors. Give the Warriors another year to gel and they will be unstoppable in the West.

They swept the first 3 rounds. And you think they need another year to be unstoppable?

Pop will never hoist the o brien again. Bookmark this. Would I be surprised if he didn't even make the finals? Nope.

If SA was smart, they'd find a way to dump Aldridge and sign Millsap.

A lineup of Paul, Green, Leonard, Millsap and Gasol with Mills and Ginobili, Parker and Simmons would be pretty nasty.

They'll be so good Aldridge can bow out in the regular season in steady if waiting in the post season.

I love the Spurs but they need something else.

I really don't see Paul leaving LA, unless something like Griffin leaving happens
