If Mile High is across the interstate from downtown Denver so is Little Caesars Arena.

There are fewer shared NBA-NHL arenas than you’d think, I think there’s only like 7.
I used to think two arenas was a waste.
But having lived through the mess that was the NHL/NBA cohabitation in Atlanta, and in Brooklyn, and in Phoenix, I now thoroughly support the idea of two buildings. The sight lines for one sport vs the other causes one game to be an afterthought in their own building.

quote:I mean you can make the same argument against little ceasers. It's on the other side of the interstate from the main core of detroits downtown the same as mile high (i get mile high is a bit further but still)
Im honestly not sure how you can say Mile High IS downtown.
ETA: Dammit boat

If you had actually been to either of these places you’d know that’s an absurd take

Ive driven by mile high/ been in denver downtown. Ive never been by Caesars though so I'll concede.

To walk from Mile High to downtown proper you have to go through/around a college campus. Took a solid 20 minutes or so.
Little Caesar’s on the other hand is right across the street from hockey town cafe which is itself across from Comerica.

The Blue Jays (MLB) and Bills (NFL) play in the Rogers Center
The Raptors (NBA) and Maple Leafs (NHL) play in Scotiabank Arena.
The Argonauts (CFL) and Toronto FC (MLS) play in BMO Field
all of which are in downtown Toronto
