Auburn great Tucker Frederickson is now 82. Even as a die hard Alabama fan, I always viewed him as one of my favorite football players. The Birmingham News had a good article on him 5 years ago that worth a read.

I will give you old-timers a couple:
NFL: Rosey Grier (age 93)
-- Part of Rams fearsome foursome that included Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones
-- Was a bodyguard for Senator Robert Kennedy; when Kennedy was assassinated in 1968, Grier subdued and disarmed the assassin and protected Ethel
MLB: Tony Kubek (age 90)
-- Yankee from 1957-1965, long time TV commentator on NBC, paired with Joe Garigiola on NBC Saturday Game of the Week for years.

I remember both well and did not realize that either were still alive.
I would have never thought that someone as big as Rosey Grier (aka Gabe from the Daniel Boone show) with all of the wear and tear from playing pro football would live well into his 90's

I read that only 2 NFL players have had net worth greater than him. One was the Panthers owner, the other is Staubach

Mark McCormack helped Tarkenton invest, making him wealthy enough to "retire this week if [he] wanted to", as New York magazine wrote in 1971.[67] Tarkenton was a pioneer in computer software, and founder of Tarkenton Software, a program generator company. He toured the United States promoting CASE or "computer-aided software engineering" with Albert F. Case, Jr. of Nastec Corporation, but ultimately merged his software firm with James Martin's KnowledgeWare, of which Tarkenton was president until selling the company to Sterling Software in 1994.
Tarkenton served as a color commentator on Monday Night Football from 1979 to 1982. [68]
In 1999, Tarkenton was fined by federal regulators as part of a securities fraud sweep. According to the L.A. Times, "In Tarkenton's case, the Hall of Fame quarterback and 10 other former executives of his computer software and consulting firm, KnowledgeWare Inc., were accused of inflating by millions of dollars the company's earnings in reports for its fiscal year ended June 30, 1994. The former Minnesota Vikings quarterback agreed to pay a $100,000 fine and $54,187 in restitution. He did not admit any wrongdoing".[69]
Since then, Tarkenton has been promoting various products and services including Tony Robbins and 1-800-BAR-NONE. He also founded GoSmallBiz, a small-business consulting website. He also operates an annuity marketing firm called Tarkenton Financial.

Koufax was still looking good about a year ago at a Dodgers game....I think he's like 89?

Koufax was running marathons in his 60s. No surprise he’s still around.

He started a company that he sold for $73 million, and he invested in Apple when they were first starting out. He has over $100 million in Apple stock.
