1. College football "Keys to the game" segment. It's the same obvious things they use over and over again.
"Establish the run"
"No turnovers"
"Limit big plays"
"Protect the QB"
Well, no shite.
2. Tweets between rounds of a UFC fight. I don't need some random celebrity to tell me who took the round, "my score card is 10-9", so and so is using his reach well, or this guy is a killa, #respect, #champ. Get rid of it!

Every time I see Jeremey Schaap come on, I leave the room. It's either going to irritate me, or bum me out.

Previewing what's coming up on the studio halftime report

The entrance to football games where ESPN and the like think its better to give us two guys with the personality of a plank of wood giving us generic talking points about the game that could be said for every game ever played instead of building up hype an atmosphere by focusing on the team and fans

When they announce player of the game when there is plenty of time left and the result is undecided.

Mike Florio trying to explain anything football related
Anytime a studio crew tries to lecture me on American lack of morality

"Limit big plays"
So soft cover 4 and rush three all night? Sure , that will win you some games. Fat Chavis had it all figured out I guess.

Interviews with coaches right before they go to the locker room fro half time
I don’t really hate them, but they’re pointless

Human interests stories being overdone. I normally think the networks that cover sports make a lot of feel good stories into a lot more than they are trying to hit on the next, "Iowa Children's Hospital" story, that really does make your eyes tear up.
The best human interest story, I ever saw during a game was A CBS Thanksgiving NFL story about Chris Henry's mother meeting the people that got Chris' body parts I was about 8 weeks into a hospital stay when it aired that Thanksgiving. The sitter who was watching TV with me, and I, had a good cry.

When you are watching a college football game and they cut in to update viewers on a game that was never going to be close.
For example "hey we are interrupting this game to show you highlights from Oklahoma vs Directional South Dakota Tech, wow look at Oklahoma go"

quote:Try being a media member at a game and they want your vote at the end of the third quarter. I guess they worry about not getting all of the sponsor's info read if they waited until the end. The NBA does wait until it's over for Finals MVP, but the networks cover all of that anyway.

Having some ex-official or "rules expert" explain/justify how or why the refs missed an obvious call and why the replay booth can't/won't fix it.

The entire college GameDay telecast. Lee Corso's old arse schtick of putting on a mascot head. I think that's the only reason they roll him out these days.
All the guys sitting around laughing, and talking over each other, at stupid jokes like a bunch of frat boys.
Tom Rinaldi segments when he was with ESPN. I would change the channel. Plus they usually played them over and over during the season.
